Is One-way or Two-way SMS Enabled for Convergence?

To determine if one-way or two-way SMS is enabled for Convergence, check the following characteristics of each Convergence SMS type:

One-way SMS in Convergence:

• You are able to send SMS messages but unable to receive SMS messages
• There is no SMS system folder in Mail

Two-way SMS in Convergence:

• Contains a new system folder for SMS messages in Mail under the Inbox
• Email messages cannot be dragged, dropped, copied, or moved into the SMS folder
• You cannot create subfolders in the SMS folder
• Advanced mail search excludes the SMS folder
