A multi-party video call allows you to connect to more than one buddy in a video call.
Initiating a Multi-party Video Call with Buddy List
Initiate an IM chat with a single buddy, add additional buddies, and convert the chat to a video call:
Double-click an online buddy. An IM chat box opens.
Click the double arrow (<<) icon under the toolbar. The Participants tab appears.
In the Invite Participants field, enter the name of the online buddy you want to add to the call. Additional Participants are listed on the Participants tab.
Click the video camera icon on the chat box toolbar.
If your browser asks permission to share your microphone and webcam, accept the request.
Initiate a video call with multiple buddies:
On your keyboard, hold the CTRL key and select multiple online buddies.
Click the video camera icon on the Buddy List toolbar or right-click on a selected buddy and select Video Call.
If your browser asks permission to share your microphone and webcam, accept the request.
Your buddies receive an invitation to join the video call, which they can accept or reject. If they decline, you see a message that they either declined or are busy.
You can add additional buddies at any time during the call. A multi-party video call can include 5 buddies and yourself.
