Status Message

Can I Create a Custom Message?

Your status and status message appear to your buddies telling them your availability.

The following are the default status messages available:

Offline
Available
Away
Do Not Disturb
Be Right Back
On the Phone
Out to Lunch
Gone Home
Invisible
Custom

Note - Some Convergence deployments are configured such that calendar events, such as meetings, automatically change your status to Do Not Disturb. See Events for more information.

To change your status:

Expand the Buddy List.
Beneath your user name, select your current status.
The list of available statuses appears.
Select the desired status from the list.
